    i need recommendations to any good auto related tech schools in the US, i need and want to go to school for automotive but dont know where any good schools are to check out.
    dont want to be mechanic- am interested in fabrication or racing related stuff, etc.

    anyone know anything ? whats out there ?

    If you want to go the "automotive design" route, take a look at Kettering University in Flint, Michigan. Formerly GMI=General Motors Institute.

    I have several good frinds who went there. (Funny thing is that none of them work in the auto industry right now.... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif)

    I'm not sure if it's what you're looking for, but it is/was an Automotive Engineering focused School.
