Dude, why didn't someone call me. I would love to have met up with him on the way back through for dinner or something...

It was a quick turnaround, We met up around 8, and were gone from Mesa by noonish. It would have been even quicker if the tire shop wasn't so busy.

Whooooo that was a long drive. I made it back (barely) had to stop three or four times to take a power nap.

leave el paso at 10 pm,
5:30 am arrive near marvs house (couldn't remember where it was)
    take 3 hr nap
    8:30 meet up w/ fred
9:00 take tires to get swapped
chat a little, eat lunch, watch tire monkey fight w/ 42's, load up the 38s in the 4 runner
12:30 leave phx and it takes 3 hrs to get to tuscon (about 12 accidents between tthe 2 cities cause of the rain)
make it home around 8 pm

I already miss the tires.:( thats ok, i know there going to a good home. and i get to see them again in a month.----is it sad that im talking about tires like they were my children:)

    enjoy

    dan

Glad to hear you made it back OK. I made record time up the hill, very little traffic, fast lane most of the way. Mesa to my door, 150 miles. 1hr 55min.
