The nerve of that crapwad sitting on tv saying how much he loved her and was wanting her home.... and his behavior.... my gosh! I hope he truly gets what he deserves.... /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

All he's gonna get in this state is either death row for 40 years or life in the protective housing unit. I'm sure the Black Guerilla Family would love to have him though.

I've been following this since Christmas. My wife & I said the same as that he did it all along. I understand he was charged with "special circumstance", which I understand can get him the death penalty. One thing convicts hate is someone who picks on little kids. I'm sure they'll love his pretty blonde hair and goatie in jail. Something tells he he's gonna be someone's b*tch!!! I'm thinkin he'd should try to escape. Maybe he'll get shot in the process & save the taxpayers a bundle.

Ya know I hate to be the one who is always questioning things here in difference with the general membership. But something bothers me about this. And don't get me wrong! IF he's guilty he oughta be tied up by his balls. But here's my question.

How the heck could he have murdered her 4 months ago when the fetus was full term when they found it? He has supposedly been under heavy survailance since the time of her disappearance so I doubt that he has kept her held hostage all this time and then just killed her after she had the baby... So where was she for the last four months till she had the baby? /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

Splain that to me would ya?

Simple. He killed her when he was supposedly fishing. Dumped her in the Bay. The fetus was still inside Laci at the time of the murder, and throughout the time the body was in the water, the fetus came out of her. Either the umbilical cord broke or a fish ate through it. That's my best guess.

Of course he is not gonna be under surveilance before the time the missing person's report was made, but he had already committed the murder.

I thought they said the umbilacle cord was still on the baby? I could be wrong. If so, write it down & show my wife or she'll never believe it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It was. Know correct me if I'm wrong since I know very little about the dynamics of child birth, but isn't the cord attached to the womb too?

Yes, they said it was attached. But how much they didn't say. It could have been the whole thing, or simply a few inches. The cord itself, it's attached to the placenta. So if she would have gave birth like normal, then that would have come out. So once her body decomposed enough for the baby to come out, it was followed by the cord attached to the placenta. So while the baby was in her, it's wasn't attached like the umbilical was a rope or something. So yeah they baby could become free from her and wind up seperate like it was....

According to a forensic specialist......."Coffin Birth" can be can be caused by decompostion of a body.
The body builds up gases during decomposition can cause the "expulsion".

How far do you live from the house? My friend is engaged, and her husband to be's parents live on the same street. They have caught reporters going over thier fences to get closer to the house and other crazy stuff. Some news van was backing up ran up on the lawn and flattened their mailbox and then just drove off. Seems like in the last few years Modesto has been swamped with media coverage over some high profile murders....

Sounds about right!!! Damn reporters have no respect!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
I live 2 and 1/2 blocks from their house.

And yeah there seems to be a lot of wackos coming out of the wood work. The cops shot and killed a parolee thursday night but nobody heard about that!!!! Even the local paper only had a 2 inch article on it.

After asking the same question to a paramedic friend of mine I found out that he probably killed her in the last part of her pregnancy and dumped the body. Then the gasses insde her pushed the baby out at the same time that she came loose from what ever he tied her to in order to make the body sink. I didn't realize that she was so close to giving birth at the time of her disappearance. A month to a month and a half according to the news articles. So this explains it. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I think the Fresno Bee had a two paragraph statement on that in the police blotter section.

Figures /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif If I weren't 4 or 5 blocks away from that when it happened I wouldn't have known about it either.......these reporters are too busy reporting about a "dead" subject--(meaning the police aren't going to give them anything else till after the trial) then to report how the people that are out in uniform are helping our community to keep the streets safe!! Now I find that irritating /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

I think it didn't make much of a mention not due to lack of respect for the cops, but due to it was a parole. So this person did something to get there to begin with... in other words, some bad dude ate it, and it's like well, ok, whooptie doo.... one less piece of scum on the street. I think the Sac Bee had a blurb in it if this is the same item I am thinking I read about....
