since i started with ABC SUPPLY in 95 we get sears gift cards every 6 months for not breaking a driveway with a truck or banging a customers truck with a fork lift, etc. $100.00 the fist 6 months $200.00 the next,so basiclly $300.00 a year.NOW they are going to take taxes and social securety out of the next payroll check for that dollar amount!???ITS A FRIGGIN GIFT CARD!! WTF???i know they pay taxes on the purchase of the cards but .. what do you guys think?

That is called an "anticipated bonus" in insurancespeak and is included as pay for calculation of Comp premiums. I would think that the IRS looks at it the same way. Sucks.

im in the ct carpenters union and work for the only company that gives bonuses. Last year i got 200 for x mas (i just started with them) This year im already up to at least 600. They base your bonus on how well the jobs you ran/ worked on came in:D

Btw boggerless...my dad does tons of business with abc supply here in ct...can ya get a brother a hook up:D lol

Be thankful. I see approximately $35 to $40 of every $100 I am bonus'd. Regular pay I don't eat that much, but we take it up the ****ter for "bonus."
