Just for reference, I owned a 98 Chevy extended cab pickup with leather bucket seats until I finished my K5 project. The seats & console were same as in 90K5's pictures. I measured the seats and found they were a bolt in for a K5, after drilling new holes in the floor. Interesting thing was passenger seat in an extended cab slides & flips forward for access to rear seat area. I'm now looking for a set of these seats having sold the pickup. I'm told that late model Tahoe 2 door are the same as extended cab pickup.

Build it Bulletproof and take it fishing!

The seats and consoles out of late model Suburbans, Tahoes, and P/U will fit. I recently saw a conversion that had front seats, console, and rear fold down seats out of a '97 Tahoe, it was the gray cloth interior and it closely matched the '90 gray interior.

No word from him yet - emailed tho. Will post the answer if 90k5 does not.
I like the extra room (appears to be large) of the console!
I want the 90 gray interior anyway. I have the 91 Baby Shite Tan.....

Do a search on seats and look in the 2wd section for the seat post. Several other members beside 90K5 did the '95+ Tahoe/Sub/Pu conversion. I am going to be doing this in the next month or two. There seems to be a couple of ways to deal with the mouting holes, one is to drill new holes(2 I think) in the floor. The second is to drill new holes in the seat frame and keep the holes in the floor, better because of the reinforcement on the floor. The third is to fab a bracket to keep the original floor holes and seat frame holes. I will prob drill new holes in the seat frame, fastest and I have no fab skills.

I installed two 94 Suburban seats in my Blazer..
To install them, I used 4 flat steel bars (home depot hardware area).. Marked original bolt locations and drilled through the plate's and bolted them down in the original seat hole locations.. then I placed the seats down on the plates, centered them, marked where the new seat bolts were going to go, then drilled through the plates and floorboard.
Used Grade8 hardware to secure seats..
The seats are firmly planted.. don't rattle, come loose and man are they comfy... [IMG]

    Answer from 90K5:
The seats needed 2 holes drilled in the metal base to fit, but that was easy.
The console bolted right in I think...actaully there may have been some
holes drilled to get them to fit, not really sure because they were in there
when I bought the truck. Oh, they are from a '99 2 door Tahoe, or a PU, becasue the yflip forward.
    Thanks

What brand seats are they? does the shop you got them from have a WWW page. $540 seems like a really good deal.

I doubt they have a page...I think it was called Custom Seats of Texas or something.

Those consoles can be bought individually or there is a whole seat set-up but it is a lot more than 540.00. I am trying to bargain for prices right now. They are available in tan and in gray, blue and red are available for more money. They are brand-new take outs. Let me know if anyone is interested. The more I have to buy the better deal I can negotiate.
