Okay, this really ticks me off. Apparently the guy before me musta got a deal on some newer type seats. These seats have bases like my 87's seats. Anyway, He Just decided to drill some holes in the floor and make the things fit in the 84. Well, now that I have one of the factory bases, I notice it won't fit on the sliding mechanism for the 87-up seat. Did these older seats have a sliding mechanism like these newer seats? and if so, would it still work with the seats themselves? help!
