On the same trip that the Blazer got hot I noticed that my passenger seat belt support is hanging by the carpet only.

I need to rebuild the floors and innerfender when I get the chance but what is a quick reliable fix to bridge the time span between now and then??

Make a sandwich style bolt mount. Use grde 8 hardware. Take two pieces of flat steel 6"x9" and put one on the floor side and one on the underside. Assemble in this order: large washer on the bolt, pass bolt thru seat belt mount, steel plate, floor, steel plate. Then use a lock washer and then bolt down snug.
