seat belts

    any of you guys modify your lap belts to a 3 point belt system?? i don't think that steering wheel taste that good... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

    I have thought of this. One way would be to use a newer GM seats that have the shoulder belt built into the seat. Or trill and mount to the rollbar(if you have one next to your seats). I would not want them in the hardtop. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

    I did it like this, built the clamps for the roll bar and bolted it on. Makes me feel alittle safer driving the LA freeways...

    that's what i was thinking to do. How did you make your brackets, do you have a shot from the rear??
    what are the seat belts from??

    this is looking from the back side, i cut each half in a CNC then stood them up and drilled and taped the holes in them. the belt came from the Long Beach sap meet...
