ok heres the deal - im thinking about buying a front bench seat from a 1999 or up tahoe/yukon/sub. my only problem is that i think im gonna need a bracket in order to install them. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif so, has anyone here done this already and might be willing to build up a set of brackets for me? or at least provide me with some dimensions? any other ideas?

My idea would be unbolt the K5 seats from the brackets, leave the brackets bolted to the floor, and set the newer bench on them. If they are about the right height, just figure out "adapter plates" to get the bolts on.

Dunno how that works with the sliding mechanisms and what not, but I haven't messed with anything that new, and am just offering ideas /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
