I haven't seen a ton on this, and the vendor review page leaves me some questions... Anyone have the SEC tire arm (the one that doesn't attach to the bumper? They have a pic w/ a stock bumper on the vender review page-where does this attach to the truck?) Also what about the attached to rear bumper and bumper one? Any comments would be apprciated... Also what did they cost? Just kick'n around ideas at this moment, but they look nice!

    CaptCrunch-
The red and black K5 on the vendors page w/ the tire carrier is mine. The carrier is attached to the frame that Fredd makes. He also has custom bumper brackets that replace the stock ones that are also mounted in the stock bumper location. These more the bumper back about 1" i think, maybe less. Here are some pics of when i was installing it. http://k5junkie.coloradok5.com/
Edited by K5Junkie on 04/19/01 12:20 PM (server time).

The SEC rear bumper and tire carrier on their add page is now on my 84 K-5. I'm very impressed!!! The swinging pivot point for the tire carrier is made from a trailer axel with two sets of roller bearings with grease fittings. Smooth as silk and should out last me. The bumper is extremely well built and mounted directly to the frame with no modifications at all. The entire system was extremely well thought out. Give Fredd a call he's great to work with. Granted I'm not planning on anything like Moab that could tear off attachments so the system is just what I was looking for.
