Mint chocolate chip. You can see the Andes mint bag back there...

Got a few more cookie recipes from my granny tonight, so I'll see how those go! :D

Double chocolate cookies, oatmeal and cinnamon apple cookies, and classic snickerdoodles.

Barb's Oatmeal and Cinnamon Apple Cookies

    Bake @ 375 for 10 to 12 min.

    Makes 6 dozen

In saucepan, cook over low heat until apples are softened and thickened:
-6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
    -4 Tbsp superfine sugar
    (regular granulated sugar will substitute)
    -1/2 tsp cinnamon

Remove from heat and set aside

    CREAM:
    -2 cups butter
    -2 cups brown sugar
    -1 cup granulated sugar

    BEAT IN:
    -4 eggs
    -2 tsp vanilla

    SIFT TOGETHER, THEN STIR IN:
    -2 1/2 cup flour
    -2 tsp baking soda
    -1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

    FOLD IN:
    -6 cups oatmeal
    -Apple mixture

DROP small spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.

Good luck, granny says they're excellent!

The recipe I use allows you to sub in any kind of chip you want, along with nuts, which I have a feeling would tickle your fancy... ;)
