I just got back from my not so friendly GM dealer with a price for a pump and sending unit. 359 for the sending unit and 70 for the pump. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif That seems a little high, but these are the same jerks who wanted 3000$ to inspect my suburban. (funny story, the auto hubs where bad and on the same bill they had 650 to repair them and also 300 to replace them!) Where can I get the same parts without the stupid price?

howcome you dont check at napa or somewhere ? a tbi pump like for 88 camaro tbi cars are only 40 bucks, and would work, could even buy a tpi one for more pressure for less than what you are getting quoted.

I was told that the aftermarket sending units where not as good as the chevy OEM parts. Is this true? Who runs an aftermarket sending unit/pump?
