what a $!@#$%^ situation! That has to be the worst feeling. The unfortunate part is that some of us may unknowingly buy parts from these trucks. The best thing to do is for us regular ebayers to keep an eye on an increased amount of posting for parts. Would be pretty noticable if that is the sales route. Most likely these have been chopped at this point, so parts should be making there way out there......we are a very large national group that can find this stuff if we keep our eyes open.

It would be great to get some descriptions(parts, aftermarket stuff, etc) on the blazers.

Anyone know where how this could be done?

DUDE!!! I am always soooo worried about this! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
I had my K5 outside for like 3 months (no doors/top) I don't think I got one good nights sleep while it was out there. /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif
I am always looking out for these stolen rigs. Keep us all posted.

    Re: SEVEN (7) 70-72 K5\'s STOLEN!!!

You know, I always see vin tags and titles for sale on other boards and ebay. Seems like if these were decent rigs, then parting them out might not happen. Get a good description on here and like another member said, mention the aftermarket goodies or things that would stand out. I guess I should use this as yet another reason to go blow a few bucks on a good alarm.

    Re: SEVEN (7) 70-72 K5\'s STOLEN!!!

yeah. the best alarms are the ones that are silent, but alert you to tampering on the remote. Haul out there and see what is going on. One problem with getting these alarms installed in places like Circuit city and Bestbuy is that they do them all the same. the crooks know how to disarm quickly. When I move back out to Cali, I will invest in a very good alarm, and fuel shutoff, etc.

That suck's! I'll keep my eyes and ears open over here on Colorados' western slope area. Any additional info or descriptions would help. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif /forums/images/graemlins/ears.gif Doug/AKA OLD DAWG

It seems like I always hear of First Gen Blazers being stolen in the PNW - I keep mine in my garage too (not like that's a choice right now - with no axles, but...)

Anything you can do to make it hard to steal would be a smart idea with the summer coming!

I was always afraid of the stuff inside being stolen, but now who knows.
