I did the shackle flip last year using the pickup spring mount and it works awesome. However, I was wondering, would I get a bit more travel/ drop out of the rear suspension by shifting it forward a touch? My shackle sits almost exactly perpendicular when the weight is on the truck on level ground. If it was moved so it sat maybe a few degrees angled forward like this \ instead of l would that help my travel? Since I am doing all these fun mods (bob job) anyways, thought I might as well go nuts!

Im sure I saw sumthin about this somewhere, but I cant find it on search.
    Thanks
    Mike

Would help down travel. But you will lose some height.Move the mount forward and use a longer shackle to keep your height. You can get these from two wheel drive lowering companies.
