shackle flip ????????????

    how much lift should i expect from a shackle flip if i cut out the bottom of my current mounts i have a 1983 chevy k10 lwb that i use for the north west trails aney help or outher info would be help full

    You will get 4 inches. If you do it I recommend reinforcing it. I did it on my '73 and it works great. You just have to cut out enough for shackle clearance.

    i cut holes through the bottom of mine and flipped it, i reinforced it w/ 1/4in thick plate that i had bent and welded from the outside of the hanger back up to the frame. this worked great and is very stout. i got about 6in of lift out of it (had to reverse shim the rear end)
