    I am knew to ths ck5 site and I have a 72 that is a capable trail rig with all the godies except that I have no lockers I used to but it gave out. the question that I have to ask is I am planing on ordering some shacles tomorrow but dont know what kind to get. ITs eaither the Hill fourwheel drive shackles or the Off road desing shacles any one have some advise.     The Hill4WD shackles will lift the front approx 1" higher than it is now. Only drawbacks are the $69 price and you have to supply your own bushings. Plus, you'll need to level out the rear. ORD shackles will only make about a quarter-inch difference in height. They run $80 for shackles with greaseable bushings if I remember correctly. I'd go with ORD unless you are looking for the lift. Just my $.02.

    I have the ORD ones, they are very tuff and functional. I've only seen picks of the Hill stuff, seems kinda different but very pricy too. I do know that one guy hear had the ORD swaped in the Hill then when back to ORD.
    Me, i would go with the ORD!
