To finance my truck's rebuild, I'm selling "shattered" cd coasters on e-bay got $6.00 for a set of 4. Here's the E-Bay ad...

    Shattered CD Coasters

If I sell enough of these, I may make enough to finish the truck by the end of the summer... Looks like McCaslin is out of the question...

That works... yeah, If anyone would rather not use e-bay, send a personal check or money order to:

I know I'm going to get a ****load of junk mail for putting my address openly on the site...

See now I knew someone would go and blab about how I make them... heh... yeah, they are nuked, but I wouldn't suggest doing it yourself... I have an old POS microwave that I really don't care about, and on top of that, it makes your whole house stink when you do it...

NP Steve, and thanks for the support and your purchase.. =) I'll get to work on a new set for you...

Oh, do you want them to all be the same, or do you want different brands of cds so they shatter in different patterns?

The long and short... CDRs shatter in "squares", while labelled disks like AOL, etc... shatter in "rings". If you look at the pictures on ebay, the one with thin cracks is an AOL CD... =)

Gotta love the smell of Ozone. The same thing happens when we overpower a breaker on the Sub :D . The arc generated ionizes the air and creates ozone. It is a unique aroma.

I was on a Dam tour once. When I was in the main Dam area, I smelled a lot of ozone. The Dam tour guide asked the class what the Dam smell was. I got it right, OZONE!

I wanted a Dam prize. I didn't get a Dam prize last time either, when I guess correctly about the Dam airplane engine air compressors.

    Well, no Dam prize, damn

If you did not get a dam prize for answering the Dam question right would you not get an airplane prize for answering the airplane question right?

    Just a thought.

Well the dam reason, I suppose, would be that the airplane engines were now dam engines, and those dam engines were really more like dam air compressors, the were damn tools used for dam work and dam acticities

I don't think i would have wanted a dam prize

Prolly some dam thing they found in the dam filters

If you have a dam bucket maybe you can stand at the dam output of the dam turbine and catch some dam chopped dam fish
