Anyone running a shaved 14b? I just shaved mine up to about half way through the lower bolt hole (I intended to leave the lower bolt hole, but the grinder got a little hungry... oops). I thought about welding up the other half of the bolt hole and welding up a 1/4 inch skid plate. But, do ya'll think I'd be okay without the skid plate?
Have any of ya'll herd of someone breaking or cracking the housing after shaving it?

hevent heard of anyone breaking the housing after shaving it yet, There are some other people on here that have went part way through the bottom bolt hole, One of them just put the bolt in the half hole, and he says it doesnt leak at all.

I just did the last thing last week. Check the pics in my signature. I'm gonna weld up the lower bolt hole and run without it. Just besure and run a rock ring. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
