I am ordering my draglink for my cross over for my d60 today. I am curious what pitman arm you guys are using and how much drop you have in your rock rod. I was told for a 4" lift to get a 2" drop pitman and a 2" drop rock rod. So that is makes up for the 4" lift. Let me know what you guys are running. He also says that the Super lift pitman arm for the 4" lift really isnt 4" drop it is more like 2 1/2" drop. So he thinks I should use that one. Any thoughts guys?

Use the Super lift Part # SUP-1104 for the pitman arm.
I got 5" lift, and got the 2" dropped bent draglink (rock rod).
    Everything fit's perfect.

Hey Boss with that set up did you have any clearance issues with your cross member? Did you make a new one? Also where did you get your steering arm from?

No, it clears the crossmember perfect. No crossmember mods. That's what I like about this set up [IMG].

So are you both running a steering arm from Parts Mike or did you Fab your own Boss?

Yep, Parts Mike steering arm. Mine is a little different from Shawn's though. His is more complete. Mine reuses that stock cap on top of the pass side knuckle.

    Boss-
Did you ever get your AGR over-heating problem resolved? Like I said, I'm not too happy hearing other problems with the AGR boxes. Makes me want to remove the article on ORC.

    Blazer Boy-
Yep, Parts Mike is where I got mine. I got another one like Boss has since my old arm was tapered from the bottom (long story). Just get the right hand thread tie rod ends for the drag link and you're set.

Hey Boss it looks like your steering arm has through holes with studs and nuts holding it down. Does it have tapered holes on the top with the tapered nuts that fit in to it? If not that arm will get play in it eventually, causing a little wander.

Shawn, Nope, still having overheating issues. [IMG] The one time I was test flexing, I must've been turning the wheel back and forth a lot, and I think it go sooooo hottt that PS fluids was oozing out the reservoir top!![IMG] Then I touched the box and literally burnt my hand!!
nah, leave their article, it's a great article. When I do mine, I will have a buyer beware!!

    AZ,
Good point. The holes are not tapered. I can see how it may start to jar loose and wander. I'm going to call Mike and see what he has to say. Thanks for the info. I never really thought of that. Btw, what steering arm are you running?? (or where did you get it from?)

    1986Blazer,
Basically, the crossover for a Dana 60 can be done cheap (or cheaper) compared to Dana 44s.
Dropped drag link from Rockstomper = $100
Tierod ends $60 for both give or take
Pass side steering arm = $135 give or take
Pitman Arm = $60 give or take
Steering gear box = junk yard $50 or so and new $170 and AGR $330 give or take

That's basically all that's needed. Good luck

No prob man. PM would probably work better for now though. B/c my email is currently having some major probs. I don't get emails or I get them like weeks late. Sucks. When I start a new website, I'll get a new email, but for now, PM is good.
