    what is the gauge that the factory uses for the rear floor panel?

    Have been stuck (once) as of 8/12/00
    "(2H) Where's all the mud?.(4H)...(4L)..(4H)... oh crap"

    Its most likely 18 to 20 gauge. Roughly .037 to .045" thick.
    Thats why they had to put ribs in the rear floor, just to make it more rigid.
