i have a '90 blazer with an a/t and my shift lever feels loose and wiggles back and forth easily when i pull it back to shift gears, is there a cable or something that i can just tighten so that i can get the tension back?

    thanks

If I understand you correctly you are talking about the rod that goes down from your steering-coulumn (by the firewall, engineside) to the a/t-shifter. Mine feels a litle "crisper" after I lengthened it when I did the bodylift. Maybe you should crawl under her and have a feel that everything is nice and thight in both ends, and nothing is comming loose.
