Can someone share with me the shift pattern for the NP203 transfer case. The guy I bought the truck from couldn't tell me. Also, does anyone know where I can get an original owner's manual for a 1977 K5 Blazer. Any help would be great.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Front to back:

    4-lo-loc
    4-lo
    N
    2-hi
    2-hi-loc

Don't use the loc positions on pavement or the drivetrain will bind.

What about when there is a part time kit in it, do the loc postitions change to 2wd positions? cuz im driving right now without a front driveshaft and when i have it in the loc position it goes, when it is in normal high or low it doesnt. Im assuming because all the power is sent to the front where there is no resistance

I don't know how the shift pattern changes when you install a part time kit. However, the operation that you describe is exactly like a stock NP 203 will behave with the front driveshaft removed (or with one front wheel lifted off the ground). [IMG]
