I want to know if this is normal!! When I hold the pedal all the way to the floor, the tranny will stay in 2nd gear until about 65 or 70 mph. If I'm trying to save gas it will shift into 3rd as low as 30mph. (I think?) I have a 350, th350 tranny, and 3.08 gears on 31x10.5 tires (true height is 29 3/4")

Yes...that's the way it's supposed to work.

Since I don't have a tach, do you know what the rpm's (roughly) would be in second gear at 70 mph?

Probably about 4200 RPM...I'm not 100% sure on what the ratio for second gear in a TH350 is. Left in drive it should not exceed redline at WOT...
