Pulled the 203 and tranny out of my parts truck last night and wanted to ask some of you other 203 owners a question. When I pulled the shifter handle off to drop things down through the floorboard, I noticed it was a Hurst. I got to laughing at the people that owned it before me thinking they adapted a Hurst shifter handle to the case. When I got everything back out, I looked over and the whole package is Hurst. It's not cobbled together, it's made for it. Is this normal?

    Just checking.

BTW, a 465/203 combo is one HEAVY MOFO to take out all at once!!!

Two companies manufactured the shifter and Yes Hurst was one of them.
