shimmy at 45-50?

    hi guys new here, i have an 84 k5 with a 350, t350 trans, 6" lift 35x12.50 bfg muds. rides nice but around 45-50 i get a slight shimmy. i have already shimmed the transfer case. any other suggestions? ay appreciated thanks chad.

    Sounds like the typical "u-joints need replacing on the rear shaft."

    Does it get worse the faster you go, or does it stop after 50? If it gets progressively worse I would say wheels out of balance.

    brand new u joints front and rear, brand new tires and just balanced? stops at faster than 50 and lower than 45? only for about 2-3 mph in between 45-50? other than that rides real nice

    Could be a balance problem in the tires.my old 42" swampers would shake like hell but at 55 to about 63 it would ride fairly smooth. Also did you check your front end?Ball joints,Tie rod ends............

    the alignment is a little off would this do that though? thanks off to the alignment shop monday went to 35's from 33's and it is a little worse. thanks all.
