    All,

Has anyone shipped a pair of hard top windows? Are there specifically good/bad ways to do this? Are there specifically expensive/cheap ways to do this? Thanks in advance.

A good way, probably not the cheapest way would be to build a wooden box for each pane of glass.

Here is how I do it. Measure your length and width then add 7 inches to each measurement. This will allow for a 2x4 board (laying flat) around the glass. Next cut a top and bottom out of either plywood or OSB board to the measurments with the 7 inches added to it. You will sorta be building a picture frame to put the glass into.

It also helps to wrap the glass in some foam padding of some sort. Can usually find some of that at hobby stores or maybe some old upholstery.

Hope all that makes sense to you. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
