I may need to ship some tires. What is the best way to package them?

Depends on how you're shipping them and how big they are. On my 44's they were shipped by Central Freight or somebody so they came on wooded pallets wrapped in that giant "saran wrap". If you have a friend that works for a manufacturing plant etc. they might be able to ship from his work to another terminal and it could be pretty cheap. A lot of manufacturing firms have shipping contracts with the major carriers so you can save big bucks. I had 500 pounds of Ground Hawgs shipped from N or S Carolina to the Dallas area for 103.00 in only 4 days!
