Not true!! I paid $10 ea. at the Ford dealer. I forgot the number but it was a F-250 shock mount. They had a picture on the computer.

I paid $13 at my local dealer. ICK! It gave me the "Heebie Geebies" walking into that F*rd parts dept. I'm getting better though... Or so my therapist says. [IMG]

Just to kill my curiousity, these shock mounts are to install longer shocks, right? What method of welding is strong enough to hold these on the frame? Thanks.

    Talldogg,

I think you bolt them to the frame. Not 100% on that, but that would be my best bet. I will be doing this in the near future also and I guess I would bolt it on.

I'm glad to see that they can be bolted up. For some reason I remembered seeing them welded up. I guess it was something else, oh well. Hey, how about grinding off that ford logo that's stamped on them?[IMG]
