I need new shocks for my 87K5 w/stock springs. However, I do plan on a 2-2.5" lift kit in the semi-near future. Can I use the same shocks I buy for the stock springs with the lift springs? I'm planning on RS9000's. I don't rockcrawl, so I don't think max articulation is a factor (listen to the newbie, thinkin' he knows something!). Also, T.C. EZ-Ride or Skyjacker Softride?

Check the Rancho shock catalog when you buy your shocks. The base 5000's will work with stock through 2" of lift. I'm sure the 9000's are the same...
