I have a 2.5" lift and 33s today after lifting the truck on the hoist I see I only get about 2-3" of travel before the shocks top out. When I installed 4" lift shocks I was close to bottoming them out when a rest. Does anyone have a suggestion as too what shock length to use to get the max travel? Do I have to mod the shock mounts to make everything work?

Thank you. I guess I thought since my lift was so small there would be a easier way but I guess thats what you get being a dump noob. I will finish putting on my ord parts and move to shocks and mounts.

I used to run 4" lift shocks with my 2.5" lift. You could try that. I used the stock mounting.
