Whats the difference in the numbers on the Rancho Shocks?
3000, 5000, 9000??
Is this the firmness?

I don't know what the 3000's are but look below.

RSX=Self adjusting - not for lifted trucks
5000= 10 stage valving
9000= 5 adjustable settings

Go to the Rancho website at http://www.gorancho.com for more info.

The 3000 are Pro Comp shocks and I was told they are the same shock as the 5000's, even made by the same shock mfg...

I was just wondering. I saw all the different lift kits, and they all had different shocks. Just wondering which is better worse mid grade and so forth.

I bought the procomp 3000's to go with my TuffCountry lift. I wiggle and bounce like crazy. I'm not shure if it is my shocks or new springs or old rear springs. I kind of wish I had the Rancho 9000's and then I could adjust them to see if it made a difference.

Just my 2¢.

9000's are twice as much but if your as picky as me you might need that adjustability.
