ok my mom is thinkin about lettin me bring the sub back here for x-mas but it needs an engine bad!! im thinking either a shortblock and have my buddy in vegas take care of my heads. a rebuild kit and totally rebuild it, it needs a cam and lifters, valves, springs too though. or a long block if i can find one cheap. so is there anywhere in PHX i can find a shortblock or a low cost reman engine??

    Scott,

You can't beat a crate motor.... I've tried to build them cheaper, but in the end... I just-as-well gotta crate motor.

    Don't they have a 300 horse 350 for a damn good price..!?

GM Crate motors. They offer both short and long block motors so you might check them out.

So long as your Sub didn't come with a 305 or they'll want you to bring back a 305 core like they did me..
