I found a 93 4x shortbox fleetside. Right truck right miles right price wrong box. I have a line on a stepside box for a reasonable amount. Is it a direct swap? or what problems will I find with gas filler, lights, bolts etc? I have been unable to just find the "perfect truck" for the right price.

Way back in 1990 I was looking to replace my 88 GMC short box fleetside (2WD)that had been stolen/forums/images/icons/mad.gif The dealer had a '90 step side that was perfect except I wanted the fleetside box. They offered to swap a fleetside box on to the truck for me...all I would have had to pay was for paint. I was told it was a bolt on deal...
