i currently DD a 92 Silverado. good condition 173K miles, strong runner, upgraded 4x4, trailer brakes, extended cab, insulated topper, paint starting to peel. cool red dash mat, and a sweet oil pressure gauge. should i keep it or sell it and buy a nice condition 95 Silverado extended cab, tonneu cover, 150Kmiles,exhaust,fancy bling wheels, and nice body and paint for 6K?

95 is the holy grail man... After going to the newer interior, you'll never look at the earler one the same. I still kick myself for selling my 95...

6K is a lot to get something with almost as many miles as what you have now. at least what you have now you know how it was treated. 6K will get you bling wheels, a nice paint job and upgrades for the interior.

Not having too make payments is nice !!!!! Not a big difference in years or millage, so I couldn't justifie the trade. Honestly, I think you'd be better off keeping what you have and investing a little $$$ into it too increase it's resale appeal for the time you do get a newer low milage vehicle.
