    Show me your rock sliders\'....

    Going to put rock sliders' on my rig and was wondering if you guys could show me some pic's and stories on how you did yours and how they were mounted, i.e. welded or bolted.

    my sliders can be seen on the free slider giveaway. I bought a set off of Dan. the design he makes was just what i had drawn up for the willy's. I like the rear portion where it kicks out.

    Yea, I like the way yours turned out, I am wanting to weld mine to the frame but I am curious what the draw backs would be.

    Here are mine:

    3x3 box tube welded in place of the rockers. I landed on them hard a few times and pivoted on a rock with them and they hold up great.

    3x3" replacement rockers for me. cut/grind...measure..cut some more...measure. (repeat, as necessary)

    Weld em in.

    I would not weld them to the frame. (personal preference)
