Ok so some of you have figured out Im a little outside the bell shaped curve of normal...
One thing I love to do is weld... and since I dont have to do it for a job I dont get tired of it
When I retired I invested in some pretty nice equipment. I have been doing art... metal scuplture for about 20 years now... and have made it pay...
Ive done numerous landscape size sculptures around the US... maybe 150 pieces...
    Heres an example

    "Millenium View:
    Stainless Steel, poly painted

Id love to see some other artists work...
and yes.. making diff covers or rock bumpers DEFINATELY counts,,, kidjethros stuff is beautiful!!!

it feels good taking money from rich fatcat liberals .. who unfortunately are the ones that buy most of my sculpture... and I have to listen to them dribble on... that i get tired of... playing the art "game" totally turns me off... if it didnt I think I could get rich at it...

Ill scan some of my portfolio and let the true critics tell me what they think :-)

Only thing I can do is paint mountains. I can't weld or draw people.

Hmmm, maybe this picture belongs better in the "rediculous picture of yourself" thread.

That was me in high school age 17 when I had to build and paint the set for a play. I think I had two eyebrows then, and no facial hair.

Dang rdn2blazer, that's some talent there!!! You work in steel like the old masters worked in stone! :waytogo: :waytogo: :waytogo:

All my latest work has been on the safety videos I've done for my company. I guess 40 or more hours each on two so far. Then burn to DVD and distribute them. Been using Adobe Premiere and two 180 gig ext. HD's. Man that raw video takes up huge amounts of storage until I get it edited down to what I like.

It ain't the brush, it's the hand that guides it!!!

I haven't taken the time to do any creative photo work.............that I gotta get around to!

Oh, I've done some simple stuff..................unretouched, so far!
