jack up front and try to turn both wheels and then try the back wheels too, and if its in neutral and all four wheels turn fine off the ground then its gonne be tranny or case problem i suspect. maybe chain in the case is off and wrapped around the gear in one direction and wedging when you move truck forward,
do you have 208 or 203 casE ?
    if neither then never mind.

    giood luck

Pull off the wheel and the drum on the side that locks up, and dial back the brake adjuster a few turns. reversing tightens this thing and causes your wheel to lock. Probably need new brake shoes /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

    14 bolt ?

well, if both hweles are off ground and even if tranny is in park or tranny iin gear one wheel could possibly turn but not the other one, but with one wheel off ground and other not off ground and with tranny locked then the wheel off ground should not turn,

but tsting for all that isnt gonna help in this case, i would drop the driveshafts off the axle yoke ends and then try the axles and rule them out. gonna be about the only way to find out or possibly be able ot move the truck from where its sitting currently
    driveshaft disconnection

    good luck

Ok here's whats happening, I jacked up the rear and I can turn the passenger side wheel with ease but I can only turn the drivers side backwards. I have'nt tried taking the wheel and drum off yet But that will be next. Maybe this will help explain things better. Thanks so far for the help

just jack it up, pull the cover and shafts, pull the carrier and pop the ring gear off...put the empty carrier back in and axles, and push it
