If there has been a post about site problems, I've missed it. Surely I'm not the only one getting SQL errors every time I search, look at "all users posts", and even at the top of most of the forums. I can't even get the "site index" anymore. Luckily I was able to figure out the munged URL for the "parts for sale" and "feedback" forums fairly easily. The site is also not keeping up with "read threads" and such correctly. This has been going on for days (maybe a week?).

    Re: Site problems?

Ok, hmmm, I know what happened...

Somehow I had a spurious "Cat=File" in my CK5 shortcut. Looking at the link for "My Home", it uses "Cat=" with nothing after it ("File" is missing). Once I changed that back to "Cat=" everything is fine.

Can't for the life of me figure out how that happened. Must have been when I was fooling around trying to figure out how to get directly to "My Home" without having to go through the "You must login" screen even when I have told it to remember me. If you remember, since the new site updates, I've had to go through 2 pages to get in to "My Home". It does keep me logged in but, every time I come directly into the forums using a shortcut pointing to http://coloradok5.com/forums/login.php?Cat= it insists on me going through the "Login" screen. I can then just click "My Home from that page to be taken to the "My Home" page without actually logging in. "My Home" even has the same URL as "Login". Anyway, I was fooling around with the URL munging just over a week ago and that must have been it. I don’t think I changed the shortcut URL but, I guess I must have, and then not noticed the change for a few days…
