You may have noticed that the forums are very slow, no really [IMG]. The host that I use will be moving us to a new server sometime between now and March 31st, at that time I will upgrade the forums to a new faster architecture. I hope you all stay around during the slooow times, it will get better. Also would like to thank all of you for stopping buy, last month we reached are first traffic mile stone, over 1/2 a million page views, in fact it was closer to 600,000, say you don't think that has any thing to do with the speed of...

It's ok that the site is slow Steve, it's helping to teach me to take it slow on the trails! LOL! (not really, but thought it sounded good!) Keep up the good work!

It's irritating but we won't be going anywhere and will look foward to the upgrade.

You rock Steve ! I thought it was just me. I can't wait until it speeds up. I love this site, and the slower speeds for the time being is totally tolerable.

Access is indeed painful at times, but there's a LOT of good info in here. I'll be glad when it's faster! I wondered about how the firewall here was affecting the speed until I went over and checked out http://www.corvetteforum.com. Those pages load in a flash!

In here, it usually takes longer to download a page than to actually read it. I seldom access the site from home 'cause QWorst, er, Qwest, can't provide me with a line that can connect faster than 26K. Aaarrrrgh!!!! [IMG] Should be able to get cable modem access from home soon though! I can hardly wait. I'm already building a Unix system for the house to act as a personal firewall so I can have all the PC's in the house connected to the net 24x7. Yep, I'm a geek.... [IMG]
