I am going to get a 2 inch lift and put 33 inch tires on my Blazer. Looking at a Skyjacker ad, the have a 2 inch lift "kit", and a 2 inch lift "system." The kit is around 300 while the system is around 600. What are the differences between these two lifts? Would the cheaper on me ok for mild to medium off roading? Is a new pitman arm required for a 2 inch lift? Thanks

no pitman arm needed, the difference is probably: the kit has blocks for the rear and springs up front, and it might not have shocks. while the system will probably have 4 springs and shocks will be included. i think.

Yeah, kit is cheaper because the rear is the block set up.

The system includes four springs and all the u-bolts.

I highly recommend Skyjacker Suspensions. I have a 4" kit, and the ride AND the handling were improved dramatically over stock.

Lift It, Lock It, LIVE IT!!!
