    Sky\'s highsteer arms + TRE\'s = ????

SO awhile back I purchased some of Skys highsteer arms for my 60. THey told me they took a one ton TRE. SO i assumed that I could just shorten the stock tie rod and put it on there. The TREs done have the right taper. Of couse i drove it home anyway. Kinda had to. Today I went into Napa and grabbed their book with all the TRE Part#'s and demensions. Now im more confused. WHat are you guys using for TRE's on your arms?? I want to make my own Tie Rod with 1 1/2"x.375 wall tubing and TRE's with 1" fine thread shaft. But I dont know what taper ect. to get. /forums/images/graemlins/1zhelp.gifplease
    Thanks Brad

I'm using 1 Ton DLE's. With chev's there's two tapers, one 1/2T and one 1 Ton (or 3/4 T depending where we're talking about) its all exactly the same taper, but one is just opened up more.

These are the TRE's that I got from Sky for my tie rod:

The ends are a 2064L and 2011R. One is right hand, one is left hand.

    They have the 1" thread....I believe 1 is a chevy and 1 is a ford /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif
