Where I grew up (So. Texas) they say:

    Sangwich (sandwich)
    Chimley (chimney)
    curve (curb)

They also say "turn your cigarette off", "get down from (or off of) the car", and they call the ground (like outside) the "floor".

You know, it seems like here in Junction they say "going down to" no matter which direction they're headed; "I'm going down to Wyoming this weekend"

Some people I know say crik instead of creek, chivy instead of chevy. My ex and his friends always say "thats tits" instead of thats cool so my friends mom decided to start saying "thats dick" its kinda funny from a 50 year old woman :p:

Here in Wyoming, we pretty much talk normal.

Howdy... but that's used all over...

I want nothing more than to say "over yonder" to a guest of the hotel I work at... I can't bring myself to do it, but I will someday :D

I noticed the "going down to" thing ALL THE TIME when I grew up in Colorado. People always said they were "going down to" somewhere... and it made no sense, even as a child... I hear it sometimes here in Wyoming, but not a whole lot. We generally stick with "going to." "Going down to" implies a trip south, or to a lower elevation. "Going up to" implies the reverse... going North or to a higher elevation...
