I am new to Salt Lake City and am interviewing body shops for my '70 Jimmy. I want a high quality, low maintenance paint job and need someone who will show my Jimmy the TLC it needs as far a paint goes. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I'm a little less then 2 hours away from SLC, but I can tell ya what we have an awesome body shop here! people come from a long way to get this guy to work on their stuff, and they have a life time guarentee on their work.

    JDJimmy,

Howdy. I'm 20 miles north of you at Hill AFB, in Layton. we have a fellow up here that comes well recommended. Gimme a holler, we'll hook up. What year is your rig?

I had my '72 blazer restored last year, by a guy on 9200 s. state st. he did a kick-ass job, worked with me on payment, and even let me do a lot of the work to help discount the cost. he really knows what he's doing, he was a GM body man all through the '70s so he has done a lot of work on blazers before and he also owns a '72 3/4 ton pickup that he has restored. if you're interested let me know and I'll hook you up with him.
