I may be getting a '86 465/205 plus 454 to replace my 350/465/205. What involed in changing the slip yoke 205 to fixed yoke? Can I use the parts from my early 205 to do this?

Just pull the fixed yoke parts out of your old case and swap them in. Easy job to do. Use a little grease on all the needle bearings to hold them in when you put it together.

I just did this not too long ago... real easy. Unbolt, bolt up. Simple swap.
