I recently tore down my 84 Blazer top end (bent valve) and ever since that I have noticed the tranny slipping. I was thinking that I may have screwed up the adjustment on the TV cable. Can anyone give me some good instuctions on how to readjust ??

Thanks for the quick response. I will give it a try after it quits raining.

Having read this... My 2 to 3 shift (at least I count it as 2 to 3) is slower then the other shifts. Is this this same cable too?

If you have the Overdrive tranny (which I believe you do), the 1-2 shift is "supposed" to be stronger and quicker than the 2-3, but I believe the 3-4 should be the same as the 2-3 (or close to it).
