Anyone running this combo yet,I mean the doubler attached to a 4 speed manual tranny? How did you do it?Im thinking of doing this setup and was wondering about the overall strength if I were to use the 10 spline deal.Wouldnt the strength the be the same as it is now?

Ok now im not running it but its sitting in my yard, and i wish you'd asked this before i took the silly thing apart, but thats not your fault, anyway the 465 version 203/doubler/205 is @26 inches from the face of the tranny adapter to the centerline of the rear yoke, (thats if my math is right) i took it apart an hour ago so i could get it out of my truck by myself. I'm actually putting it behind an auto, but hopefully that answered at least one of your questions, give me a month and i'll tell you how i like it. Oh and one of the biggest benifits, beside the gearing, to having the doubler is, especially with the 465, a longer front driveshaft.

It's plenty strong. I've used this setup for the past two years and others on this board have seen me at Tellico with 8000lbs riding on it. Be sure to make two crossmembers to support both transfers and after you drive for a couple of weeks ,re-torque all the 9/16 bolts that hold the two transfers together. Steve

Ran mine last season and love it. It is plenty strong and like Titanic said just make sure you use double crossmembers. The overall length is the same as having just a NP203. My front shaft used to bind prior to the doubler, but now it has length that I can flex out the truck. You also negate the need for a clutch. When you come up to an obstacle you can just hold the brakes and almost stop the truck from rolling without killing the motor. Auto's are for girls :-))))

I thought I was wrong once,
    but I was mistaken

Its a ten spline female, hooks right up to the back of the 465, now before you ask, no im not going to use it but someone has already spoken for it. But ya all you need is the 465 to 203 adapter, (@ $150 according to Stephen Watson), and a 465 input for the 203 (also $150 per SW). then you can drop it into any 203 range case, and hook the doubler to the back of it. easy! All it takes is money!
