I can get you the part numbers, but you are going to be in the $400's easy if I remember correctly. You are having a hard time finding these because that hydraulic clutch setup just wasn't that common. You know that one out of any Chev truck our body style would work, right?

Personally I'd hold out for the hydraulic stuff, but you could fit the manual linkage in there as well. As long as you can wait, do. Its worth it.

How would the newer 5spds from like 93 and on fit in there? That's what I'm thinking about. Prolly lots of those in the junkyards. Or one of the new auto trannies they're putting in the Chevy 3/4 tons and 1 tons. Starts with an A.....

    I'm rambeling....[IMG]

    I've got a mind like a . . . a . . . what's that thing called?

Allison is the name of the new tranny. I have one in my truck. Simply awesome. PTO Capable too.

PTO capable.....I'm assuming you're talking about the transfer case, or is the new Allison PTO equipped? Buy the way, what kind of transfer cases are they putting behind the Allison's

If you didn't build it yourself, how can you call it yours.......?

The Allison automatic has PTO provisions, but there is not enough room under the body of the truck to use it. Only cab & chassis versions have room. The HD transfer case is an NVG261 (manual shift) or NVG263 (pushbutton shift). The 261 is basically an improved, heavy duty 241.
