Hey. I have an SM465 and NP205 from a parts truck that I'm going to put in my '76 K5. Is there something I should check to see whether these units need to be rebuilt? The gear oil looked good when I drained them last night.

I figure that before I put them in the K5, now's the time to rebuild them if they need it. I don't want to pull and reinstall these heavy fools any more than I have to!

If I do choose to rebuild them, is there anyone who makes a kit with all the parts?

    Thanks!
