That sounds like a landscape trailer and not a car trailer. A small car trailer is usualy 16ft.
I'd make sure it has a high enough weight cpacity. Your truck is going to in the 6k range.

he knows it is duel 3.5k or 4k axles. but he thinks it is 12 to 14 feet long. the wheels are 12 feet so what would be wrong with a 12 foot trailer?

I had a 12' car hauler that I bought several years ago when I had a "Sand Dune" Jeep CJ5.... It was perfect for hauling the little Jeep, but it was more of a challenge for hauling a full size K5. Still we did it several times. Rob (therobzilla) hauled his 6k lbs K5 to Moab for Blazer Bash last year on it. /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif.... We did blow out 2 tires, and since you don't have much room to "center the load" how you like it, at times it seemed to be a bit of a handful....

My advice.... go at least 16'. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif
