i have a 305 v8 and every time i start it a puff of smoke comes out the exhaust and now it just started to smoke when i first take off (it only smokes for a little bit then stops) also now my blazer has no power when im taking off, but i did put like a oil additive in the motor oil which was super thick i did think that was what was taking the power but now im not sure

i think the smoke is normal . I don't think your oil additive is causing your low power . I think it's something else like fuel or ignition .

I whould inspect your engine for bad heads or cracks because
my mom's astro van was doing that kind of stuff a couple weeks ago
and now it's at a place we seattleites like to call Fitz it's a junk yard,And mom's driving a new GMC Safari.
